
Tau Gamma Phi – Triskelion Singapore Council once again joined the Walk for our Children 2010 event by the Singapore Children’s Society. This is our 3rd consecutive year of joining this event and we’re proud to say that we are the only Filipino organization to join such a prestigious event.
We had the photo booth and everyone had fun taking and printing their souvenir pictures. All proceeds went to the chosen beneficiary.
We thank the organizers this year for inviting us once again. You guys rock! See you next year!

We recently took part in another good advocacy to support the special needs children. Last July 24, 2010, Photography with a Difference (better known as PWD) officially started here in Singapore its 1st overseas photo workshop at the Singapore Botanic Gardens with the help of Espesyal Pinoy’s President Sis 0belia Cutiongc0 and Pepin Ordona of PinoyCSers who spearheaded the project. The event was participated by 3 other famous Filipino photography groups here in the Singapore and of course Tau Gamma Phi – Triskelion Singapore Council which will always support worthy events like this.

Yet another successful project of ours!
We have been tapped again to head the security committee of the movie premier “You To Me Are Everything” here in Singapore by Chismax SG. Actor Dingdong Dantes grateful for our support. Likewise, the organizer and producer thanked us for our help in the all-day event.

They also donated some toiletries for our yearly charity project with Halfway House dubbed as “Alay sa Kapamilya ng Triskelion Singapore”.

Once again, we represent!

Triskelion Singapore participated in the recently concluded Philippine Independence Day Celebration that was held at Hong Lim Open Park last June 13, 2010. It was different this time around from the usual marshaling duties as we were able to secure a selling booth.
Proceeds will of course go to our numerous charity projects we’ve been doing all these years.

As part of our continuous effort to help our unfortunate “Kababayans” here in Singapore, we have just recently donated a cash donation that was used to purchased a plane ticket to a distressed Filipino worker. This was also an extension of our yearly project “Alay sa Kapamilya ng Triskelion Singapore” which was dedicated to Halfway House.

We would like to thank Labor Attache Rodolfo Sabulao and the rest of the Philippine Embassy for giving us this opportunity.

We would like to thank those who watched GMA 7’s Summer Saya Free Concert that was held at Dhoby Ghaut Open Park last May 30, 2010. Triskelion Singapore Council supported this Filipino event and at the same time we headed the over-all security of the show and with Sis B0bong Cutiongc0 serving as the emcee.

A priority for the next president of the Philippines will be to improve the economic situation.
Millions of Filipino workers live overseas, remitting billions of dollars to improve the standard of living for their families.
The economic situation will have to improve massively to tempt these people to return home.
